Jason’s Shooter Ready Dryfire Academy definitely took my competitive shooting to the next level! He provided me with not only a ton of things to work on to develop fundamentals, but his match analysis provided a road map to get me to exactly where I wanted to be. I can’t recommend his program enough!

I was introduced to Jason by a fellow Master class shooter. Until then, I was a competitive shooter but was inconsistent. I couldn’t understand where I was going wrong, what I had to do, if I did what I wanted, and if it made a difference - too many questions and just being frustrated. My very first introductory meeting with Jason brought up and highlighted several reasons for inconsistent performance and also things I should do prior, during and after each stage. After practicing the homework that he had assigned, I noticed a difference during and immediately after my very first match after my first session. For the first time I was not in the bottom of the list, instead, I found myself somewhere in the middle. After my second session and the next match, I was in the top 10, for the very first time. After the third session, I was at the top of board and placed #1 at the match, out of 36 shooters. It was an unbelievable achievement in just 3 sessions. Jason’s training may be tailored for each shooter and so I won’t go into the details of his training. I can honestly say that I have nothing but praise and appreciation for how he trained me. I am not done with my training yet, and have a long way to go. Lots more to learn, practice and turn them in to muscle memory. Jason, I have said this before and I say it now, “Thank you for the guidance and showing me the path.

Jason is an extremely skilled and professional personal trainer. He is also an incredibly sophisticated physical therapist with an encyclopedic knowledge of biomechanics and kinesiology. On more than one occasion, my schedule made it necessary to rehab quickly from a severe injury - including a ruptured biceps tendon and a torn hamstring. Jason had me back at work in half the time the surgeons predicted possible. His professionalism is unmatched and in the more than 15 years we’ve worked together, he has never cancelled or showed up late for a training session. He is also a master firearms instructor, an extremely proficient basketball player and a dedicated and loyal friend. His action figure museum is also world class.

Jason is incredible, he is a true mentor and coach. He has a vast knowledge of how to shoot competition pistol sports. His ability to reduce that information down and teach it to the newest shooter is quite impressive. He grows and pushes you well in his process. His training material along with the book he had me read has improved my shooting game farther than I could have done it on my own. I started as a High class sharp shooter in IDPA. Within 4 months I became a competitive Master. It’s fun to compete with pistols, it’s really fun to win, but it’s the best to win at a high level. Perfect practice makes perfect!
